2.1. Automatically Collected Information (Analytics & Crash Reporting)

Our App integrates Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, third-party services provided by Google LLC, designed to automatically collect certain information about your device and app usage to help us improve the App.

Important Note on Consent: Currently, both Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are disabled by default. No data is being collected by these services at this time. In the future, we may enable these features, but they will only be activated if you provide your explicit opt-in consent through an in-app consent form.

If activated with your future consent, the information collected may include, but is not limited to:

• Device Information: Such as device model, operating system version, anonymous device identifiers, language settings, and screen resolution.
• Location Information: General geographic location (e.g., country or city), typically derived from your IP address. This location data is generally not precise.
• Usage Data: Information about your interaction with the App, such as session length, features used, and specific in-app events.
• Crash Reports: Information regarding application errors, crashes, and performance issues, which helps us identify and fix bugs.

We do not currently require you to create an account or provide any directly personal information (like your name or email address) to use Giovex. Any automatically collected analytics or crash reporting data (if consent is granted) will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required for our legitimate business purposes or to comply with legal obligations. The specific retention period for data collected by Google is subject to Google's own data retention policies.

• Analytics & Crashlytics Consent: Because we use an opt-in model for these services, no tracking will occur unless you agree. Should we activate these forms in the future and you grant consent, you will also be provided with a method within the App's settings to revoke that consent at any time.

Giovex is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13 (or any higher age threshold an applicable jurisdiction requires for online data collection from children). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We intend for Giovex to be appropriate for a general audience. The target age rating for the App on app stores will be "Everyone".

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no electronic transmission or storage of information is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
