Flutter upgrade service

Your Flutter app is stuck. We get it shipping again.

Outdated SDKs, broken Gradle builds, abandoned packages, store rejections — we untangle it, upgrade your app to current versions and hand back clean, store-ready builds.

  • Free assessment, then a fixed price
  • iOS and Android in one engagement
  • From a team that ships and maintains its own apps

Sound familiar?

Flutter moves fast, and so do Apple and Google. Skip a few upgrade cycles and small gaps turn into a wall.

  • The build breaks after every change

Gradle, Android Gradle Plugin, Kotlin, CocoaPods and Xcode versions no longer agree, and each fix exposes the next error.

  • Packages won't resolve

The versions you need require a newer Dart SDK, and pinning or overriding dependencies only postpones the problem.

  • Plugins you rely on are abandoned

Key packages are discontinued or unmaintained, and they're blocking the rest of your dependency tree.

  • The stores have set a deadline

Google Play and Apple regularly raise target SDK and toolchain requirements. Miss them and you can't ship updates.

  • Old code won't compile on modern Dart

Apps written before sound null safety or against removed APIs need a real migration, not a version bump.

  • Nobody wants to touch it

The original developer has moved on, and previous upgrade attempts ended in a rollback.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does a Flutter upgrade cost?

It depends on how far behind the app is, how many packages need replacing and how much native code it has. That's why we start with a free assessment and give you a fixed price before any work begins.

How long does an upgrade take?

An app that's only a few versions behind can take days. Apps that are years behind or rely on custom native code take longer. You'll get a timeline together with your quote.

Can you upgrade an app someone else built?

Yes. We need access to the source code and anything required to build it, such as signing configuration and environment files.

Will the upgrade change how the app looks or works?

The goal is the same app on current foundations. If a replaced package or a platform change affects behavior, we flag it in the plan and agree it with you first.

What if a package we depend on has no maintained version?

We replace it with a maintained alternative, fork and patch it, or re-implement the feature — whichever is safest — and the plan tells you which.

Do you need access to our App Store and Google Play accounts?

Not for the upgrade itself. If you'd like help with the release, you can grant access in App Store Connect and Google Play Console and revoke it at any time.
