Privacy Policy for Giovex

This Privacy Policy describes how Thiliax ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our mobile application Giovex (the "App"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Automatically Collected Information (Analytics & Crash Reporting)

Our App integrates Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, third-party services provided by Google LLC, designed to automatically collect certain information about your device and app usage to help us improve the App.

Important Note on Consent: Currently, both Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are disabled by default. No data is being collected by these services at this time. In the future, we may enable these features, but they will only be activated if you provide your explicit opt-in consent through an in-app consent form.

If activated with your future consent, the information collected may include, but is not limited to:

  • Device Information: Such as device model, operating system version, anonymous device identifiers, language settings, and screen resolution.
  • Location Information: General geographic location (e.g., country or city), typically derived from your IP address. This location data is generally not precise.
  • Usage Data: Information about your interaction with the App, such as session length, features used, and specific in-app events.
  • Crash Reports: Information regarding application errors, crashes, and performance issues, which helps us identify and fix bugs.

2.2. Information You Provide To Us

We do not currently require you to create an account or provide any directly personal information (like your name or email address) to use Giovex. If you choose to contact us directly via email (e.g., for support or feedback at [email protected]), we will collect your email address and any other information you voluntarily provide in your communication to respond to your inquiry.

3. How We Use Your Information

If you consent to data collection, or if you contact us directly, we use the information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App.
  • To improve, personalize, and expand the App's features and functionality.
  • To diagnose technical issues, fix bugs, and prevent app crashes using crash reporting data.
  • To understand and analyze how you use the App, allowing us to enhance the overall user experience based on aggregated insights.
  • To communicate with you, such as responding to your direct customer service inquiries.
  • To monitor for and prevent fraud, and to ensure the security of the App.
  • For compliance purposes, including enforcing our Terms of Service, protecting our legal rights, or complying with applicable laws and regulations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share the information we collect in the following circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf. This primarily includes Google LLC for Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (if you have given consent). Google's collection and use of information are governed by Google's Privacy Policy, which you are encouraged to review (available on the Google website).
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Thiliax; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App; (d) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.
  • Business Transfers: If Thiliax is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, liquidation or bankruptcy, or acquisition of all or some portion of our business to another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or uses of your information, as well as any choices you may have.

5. Data Retention

Any automatically collected analytics or crash reporting data (if consent is granted) will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required for our legitimate business purposes or to comply with legal obligations. The specific retention period for data collected by Google is subject to Google's own data retention policies.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data.

  • Analytics & Crashlytics Consent: Because we use an opt-in model for these services, no tracking will occur unless you agree. Should we activate these forms in the future and you grant consent, you will also be provided with a method within the App's settings to revoke that consent at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Giovex is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13 (or any higher age threshold an applicable jurisdiction requires for online data collection from children). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We intend for Giovex to be appropriate for a general audience. The target age rating for the App on app stores will be "Everyone".

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no electronic transmission or storage of information is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
